ISCP Announcements

September 21, 2011 -- ISCP is now soliciting nominations for seven members of the Board of Directors. Elected board members will serve a four-year term starting February 1, 2012. Nominees must meet the following criteria to be eligible for election:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of continued membership in ISCP
  • Two “sponsors” (supporters of nomination other than nominee) who are members of the Society in good standing
  • Ability to converse and otherwise communicate reasonably well using English language

Nominations forms can be downloaded here (.doc, 33kB) and are due to the ISCP Secretary by email no later than October 31, 2011.

August 15, 2011 -- The FHWA's Advanced Concrete Pavement Technology (ACPT) Program and the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center (NCPTC) at Iowa State University are pleased to announce that the FHWA ACPT International Conference on Long-Life Concrete Pavements will be held in Seattle, Washington, September 18-21, 2012. ISCP is also a co-sponsor of this event. More information is available on the conference website.

September 16, 2010 -- ISCP is pleased to announce the call for papers (1.5MB, pdf) for the 10th International Conference on Concrete Pavements to be held at the Fairmont Château Frontenac in Québec, Canada on July 8 to 12, 2012. Abstarcts or letters of intent to submit a paper are due by April 30, 2011. Full papers must be submitted by September 30, 2011.

September 16, 2010 -- Drafts of ISCP standing and technical committee scopes, members, and activities have been posted at http://www.concretepavements.org/committees/index.htm. ISCP members that are interested in participating on any of these committees are encouraged to contact that specific committee's chair. Given that ISCP is an all-volunteer organization, a high level of participation is essential for continued Society growth and effectiveness.
